WR SAFE LIFE – first aid training
Responding to an injury – practised without risk
The VR/MR manikin – school edition is part of the WR SAFE LIFE subject – Safe School Workshop. It is a trainer with smart sensors for practising first aid for injuries: the student performs the intervention on a physical manikin while the virtual face, vital signs and scenario are shown in mixed reality. The system evaluates performance instantly – without external cameras and without manual assessment by the teacher.

What students practise
For school use we recommend these procedures from the core portfolio:
Massive bleeding and tourniquet
Sensors measure pressure, application time and effectiveness. A successful intervention is confirmed by haptic feedback.
Airway and recovery position
Inertial sensors measure the rotation angle and stability of the position.
Level of consciousness – AVPU / GCS
The virtual face responds with facial expressions, speech and motor reactions.
Casualty triage
Setting treatment priorities. The vital signs hub generates pulse, breathing and SpO₂.
Intervention documentation
Students record the course of the intervention on a digital card in mixed reality.
A report for the teacher without manual assessment.
After the exercise the system automatically generates a time-stamped log of interventions and a report for the teacher. The results are used to review the intervention together with the students.
